ESL One will Host the Next Dota 2 Tourney at Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg
ESL announced that the Europe’s biggest Dota 2 tournament will be held in Hamburg after three years of successful run in Frankfurt, Germany.
“Having ESL One in Frankfurt for three consecutive years was a tremendous learning experience that showed us how much the Dota 2 community cares about the competitive scene and everything around it,” said Ulrich Schulze, Vice President Pro Gaming at ESL. “We’re confident that with the new location and a better date ESL One Hamburg will once again play host to the world class Dota 2 competition that ESL One is known for.”
With $250,000 on the line, eight top teams will compete against each other at the Barclaycard Arena for a share of the prize money and the elusive ESL One trophy on October 28th and October 29th.
Tickets will go on sale early next week and a weekend ticket will cost €35, a weekend plus ticket is sold at €85, while premium tickets are €229 and the Aegis Experience tickets will cost €2.999 for 5 pax.
